Our Mission Statement
To provide a good quality professional EAP course which provides students with the linguistic and study skills they will need to go on to study successfully at a UK University.
The team Emma, Rob and Vicky decided to set up a language school offering professional and comprehensive courses which focus on English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The aim of our courses is to teach real language to meet the needs of a specific group of language learners: that is students going on to study at a University in the UK.
Academic English is very different from what we might call 'general English'. Universities require students to adopt a formal, academic style to their writing and there are often quite strict conventions within each discipline. Understanding some of these conventions will help the learner to produce better essays.
Because the course is so focused, students will be better equipped to meet the challenges of academia.
